Remote doesn’t need to mean Distant!
Zoho announced that the Remotely suite would be completely free earlier this year, for obvious reasons, and have recently made the decision to extend that offer to 1 December!
The idea was to make remote working that bit easier, particularly for those forced into it at short notice, and so far it’s helped 25,000 businesses do exactly that!
If you already have Zoho One you can also take advantage of the included apps as part of that package, but what do they all do? Here’s a brief summary:
Assist
Provide secure remote assistance whatever your location. As long as you and your client are connected to the internet you can take control of their devices and solve problems as if you were there in person.
Cliq
Text chat, video and audio calls organised into neat channels where you can share files and convert messages into tasks.
Connect
Get a conversation going in a feed, then move into groups and channels or crowdsource in forums. It even has a Town Hall for Q&As or AMAs!
Meeting
Meet with clients and colleagues via video, or just audio for those days when you just don’t want to be seen!
Sprints
Quick and easy project management, with the added bonus of live feedback.
Lens
See what your customer sees, then click and annotate to deliver deeper remote assistance.
(Note, this app can now be added to Zoho One from your admin console https://one.zoho.com/zohoone/$portalname/adminhome#/apps/new/lens).
Sheet
Work on and visualise insights in collaborative spreadsheets to analyse your data, or just make nice tidy lists.
Show
Present and collaborate at the same time, with multiple people, in different locations!
Writer
Edit and share team documents in real time.
WorkDrive
Share and collaborate on team documents whenever works for you.
If you’re already using the suite and are wondering where Projects and Showtime have disappeared to, they have been replaced by Connect, after thorough analysis of usage patterns. The task management and training modules that Connect has to offer were described by Zoho as ‘quite handy’ when they announced this change to the line up.
What happens to those who are using Projects and ShowTime as part of Remotely?
You will need to subscribe to one of the plans of either product and Zoho are putting together some ‘interesting deals’.
Still not sure which of these applications are right for you? Why not request an audit so we can let you know!
The following two price plans will be in place from 1 December 2020.
